UAW Local 235 (1,900 members in production) and UAW Local 262 (300 workers in the forging plant) in Hamtramck, Michigan and at other plants are going on their second week of their strike at American Axle tonight at midnight (March 3, 2008). Labor/community supporters are encouraged to show our support in any way possible. Stop by the local and see what you can do. The locals can always use bottled water, firewood and picket line support. Other UAW locals on strike against American Axle are in Three Rivers, MI and in New York as well.
